Mentivity Mentoring
Our Mission.
At Mentivity, we are committed to inspiring and empowering young people, families, and schools through holistic, community-rooted services that respond directly to the impact of deep cuts to education and youth provision.
In a time where safe spaces are disappearing and support systems are under pressure, our mission is to create lasting impact by helping young people overcome barriers, build resilience, and realise their full potential—no matter their starting point.
Providing tailored mentoring programmes that support educational engagement, personal growth, and accountability.
Creating safe spaces for learning and development, such as Mentivity House and our Respite Provision, which address the diverse needs of our community.
Fostering collaboration among schools, families, and young people to deliver a triangulated approach that puts each individual at the centre of their journey.

Who We Are.
Mentivity is an award-winning organisation specialising in mentoring and alternative education.
Founded in 2016 by Sayce Holmes-Lewis, with co-founders Leon Wright and Tyson Holmes-Lewis, the organisation was inspired by their upbringing on the Aylesbury Estate. This connection has shaped Mentivity’s innovative approach to supporting young people, leading to the creation of impactful initiatives like Mentivity House and Mentivity Respite Provision.
Engaging over 400 young people weekly, we continue to make a measurable difference across communities in the UK.
What We Do.
At Mentivity, We Empower Change Through Holistic Support.
Our services include:
Mentivity Mentoring: Bespoke one-on-one and group sessions that encourage young people to improve their educational engagement, self-discipline, and aspirations. We offer an embedded service within schools to ensure they receive the critical support needed to succeed.
Mentivity House: A dynamic space for creativity, connection, and growth, offering workshops, youth clubs, and opportunities for intergenerational community engagement.
Mentivity Respite Provision: An alternative to managed moves or permanent exclusion from mainstream settings, we provide young people with the chance to re-engage with education and develop essential life, social & academic skills.
Through our structured programmes, inspirational workshops, and aspirational visits, we provide the tools and support young people need to navigate challenges and thrive.

Why is Mentivity Needed?
In the face of school funding cuts and uneven regeneration, Mentivity is bridging the gap—equipping young people with the life skills and emotional tools they need to thrive.
Through Mentivity Mentoring, Mentivity Respite, and our community-driven youth work at Mentivity House, we tackle real issues head-on, including:
Trauma and anger management
Decision-making and consequences
Emotional regulation and resilience
Aspirations and future planning
Our approach combines one-to-one mentoring, conversation-based learning, and targeted enrichment, all rooted in lived experience. Sessions are engaging, relatable, and designed to help young people build confidence, stay focused, and reclaim their future.
This isn’t just support—it’s a launchpad for young people to navigate change, rise above challenges, and lead in their own lives.

Why Do Our Young People Need Mentivity?
Young people across the UK are being hit by a double crisis—drastic cuts to both youth services and education. Since 2010, youth services funding has been slashed by 73%, and in Southwark alone, eight schools have closed since 2022 due to deep education budget cuts and declining support.
This crossroads has left many young people without mentorship, skills development, or safe spaces for growth and learning.
At Mentivity House, we’re stepping in to bridge the gap. Our approach combines play-based activities, focused workshops, and a tailored respite service—designed to equip young people with resilience, engagement, and confidence.
By embedding our programmes directly in schools and communities, especially in underserved areas, we help counteract the effects of cutbacks and reduce the risk of exclusions—creating practical pathways for lasting, positive change.
